Miklat
Price: NZD199.00
A nice, simple day pack for new Zealand conditions – no point reinventing the wheel here! The Miklat will give you many years of loyal service, be it in the Tararuas, Westland, or everyday. Simple construction, minimal seams, c-canvas for durable water resistance and that traditional, diamond-in-the- rough feel. Beautiful. In a nice (and, it has to be admitted, unplanned) turn of events, the Miklat meets sizing requirements for cabin baggage –another string to this pack’s bow.

- Comfortable foam padded harness and curved shoulder straps for all day comfort, and a 38mm webbing waist belt for stability
- 3d lid pocket for map, hat, and gloves
- A double thickness base and rand for durability
- Compression straps on the sides to keep the load stable, and snug to your back for bush bashing. You can also use the tabs for these as anchor points to add bungy if you want to secure items to the outside of the pack
- Hydro sleeve for keeping you hydrated all day, with a redesigned lid to enable a nice tidy path for the drinking hose
- Colour: Black

- Close zips while washing (they'll last longer), you can also lightly oil or wax zips periodically to increase their lifespan

Oikkid Little Pack.
No frills, solid, comfy and just big enough. I've been travelling through India and Europe for the last three years, if it
doesn't fit in this sack it doesn't get taken. Low visibility (try to get an all black one - the yellow lid label will come off if you persuade it)
and the lack of bells/whistles/pockets/shockcord has meant my mind has rested easy when i've had to check it or chuck it on top of a bus... not often
because even bulging at the seams it gets allowed on as carry on. Small enough to carry everywhere but large enough to carry everything!

The best pack I have ever owned. Has been used for all sorts of stuff: day to day, shoppng expos and over night-3 day tramps, magic! Simple is best,
and this pack does it well. Just enough room for sleepingbag clothes, food and bivvying gear.Mine is 8 year old and still going strong.
I
own(ed) one of these my friend has it now.
