Patrol Pack
Price: NZD399.00
Initially designed for ski patrollers the Patrol is also the most versatile large day pack we make. It seemed unfair to limit this pack to purely professional ski field users considering that happily,
through some sublime alignment of the comfort/capacity/common sense parameters, the Patrol has found an appreciative audience amongst – well – just about anyone wanting a good all around pack.
Photographers, climbers, skiers day-tripping off piste and lightweight trampers all seem to find the Patrol pack fits the bill. a contender for the most versatile pack we make?
The amount saved in beer fines alone makes this pack a winner.

Splendid. A most triumphant example of back haulage equipment. I convinced the boss to prize open the coffers and buy me a decent back pack for
geological exploration. The Patrol is perfect for all all safety equipment and gear for day excursions with practical tie down points for additional
equipment on the sides, In our case Ropes, 1m alloy sample tubes and as you would expect - Rock samples. All of which is not for the light hearted.
The pack keeps its ridgitity very well under load compared to others on the market. On top of that we do alot of bush bashing though tough scrub and
rocks..the patrol just cant get enough of it. I have tried unsuccessfully to wreck it over the last year, but I came off second best. Like a
faithfull labrador it sits at my heals gagging for the next mission. Its a jouney of companionship.. I better go before I get too emotional..Patrol
forever, forever patrol.. (4 out of 5 stars as there is no beer fridge)

Myself and the Teble Cone Ski Patrol have been using the patrol pack for the past four seasons. I've found it be a very practical and hard wearing
pack. Our original Catus Patrol Packs are still going strong and it is still patrols first choice of pack. The pack is big enough for a large control
day but also packs down small when you are lucky enough to be skiing with minimal gear. The shovel sleeve works well and is very secure. The two
internal sleeves are excelleant for storing your probe and shovel handle whilst still allowing fast access to them when needed. Ski attachment is
quick and simple meaning that you tend to use this feature more. I close my pack by stuffing the lid inside and pulling the draw string closed. Well
it's quick. The shovel sleeve allows me tuck the lid straps away meaning that I never have to worry about them getting caught in the chair as I get
off. Bad look. The amount I save in beer fines alone makes this pack a winner. All in all if you're thinking about a patrol pack for work or a touring
pack for play I can't see how you could go wrong by purchasing a Patrol Pack for the job.
